It's Good to Have Goals
Paris has it all and I want to take full advantage while I'm here. Heaven forbid I miss out on something over the next few months - my FOMO likely would eat me alive. To keep myself organized, I created a bucket list. Obviously, not all of these are possible (9 travel destinations sadly won't happen) BUT it's a good start. I'll update this throughout my time here and link blogs to anything I do that's worth sharing.
Here's the dream:
MSL*
- Participate in a global new business effort on behalf of Paris
- Celebrate one new business win
- Find an opportunity to better integrate the Boston and Paris office
- Work on an account in French
- First solid meeting in French (though there will hopefully be dozens)
- Blog at least once per week
Everyday Life
- Explore the winter markets
- Pick up my own Christmas tree
- Oysters at Huitrerie Regis
- Dinner with Alain (Passard or Ducasse - either will do)
- Revisit l'Orangerie
- See the Degas exhibit at Musee d'Orsay
- Pere-Lachaise to see Jim
- Catacombes
- Become a regular at a cafe or restaurant
- Baguette fight a la MK&A in "Passport to Paris" (not actually, but kind've)
- Find one of the Louvre's side entrances
- Re-try escargots
Travel Destinations
- Edinburgh
- Dublin
- London
- Scandinavia to see the Northern Lights
- Prague
- Istanbul
- Morocco
- Tel Aviv
- Berlin
Got work advice, restaurant/bar recommendations, a friend in the area or a blog suggestion? I'm alllll ears.
